About School

Educational Programs and Curriculum

Our Grade Groups are divided into five academic phases:

  • Phase 1: KG2

  • Phase 2: Lower Elementary Grades 1-3

  • Phase 3: Upper Elementary Grades 4-5

  • Phase 4: Middle School Grade 6-8

  • Phase 5: High School Grade 9-12

Within our curriculum, we have a set of skills and standards that we ideally want our students to attain at the end of every phase in our school. The implementation of modern skills-based methods of teaching and learning is always encouraged, and students become creative, critical thinkers as a result.

The Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies program uses the curriculum set out by the Ministry of Education, and the English, Science and Math program is based on an international American curriculum. The Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) series is used for English, Science, and Math In the Elementary phase; and in the Middle school, the Holt and McDougall Littell series is used for all three subject areas.

Baseline assessments are conducted at the start of every academic year. These assessments provide the staff with a useful picture of what a child knows or can do; as well as identifying possible gaps in their learning. This evidence is used to design subsequent teaching and learning activities for the English and Arabic Fast Track programs.

Safety and Security

The designated employees are assumed to maintain the safety of the school building, inspect the safety and security of the equipment periodically, carry out the necessary maintenance of all facilities and maintain the periodic cleanliness of the building, halls and health facilities in order to provide a safe and clean environment for our students.

Clinic

The school health center is managed by a qualified resident nurse during the working days and school hours. The clinic is already equipped with the basic equipment under the health specifications of the M.O.E. All students are subject to periodic medical examinations. In case of emergency, having confirmed with parents, the students will be transferred to the nearest health center.

School Canteen

The school is keen to provide students with fresh meals including nutritive food and healthy beverages. The canteen is constantly being supervised by the health teachers as well as the nurse to guarantee that quality meals are being served to the students.
