KG-2 Curriculum
English Curriculum
The Kindergarten Language Arts curriculum uses language activities, teaching materials and worksheets that are grounded in phonics, verbal and oral comprehension, reading fluency, and vocabulary building. Students also learn how to follow routines, to listen to instructions, and to work cooperatively.
Foundational skills are taught to develop our learners’ fine motor coordination, in preparation for writing.
Lessons are organized in sections that teach the following:

Print awareness

Active listening and sound: Oral and comprehension activities incorporating songs and actions

Phonics and phonemic awareness

Words to know (sight-words recognition)

Grammar
Each kindergartener will complete Volume 1 and 2 of the ‘Journeys’ practice book during the academic year.
Arabic Subjects Curriculum:
Since its establishment, the school has been keen to attach the utmost importance to the curriculum of the classes from the preliminary and even through the application of the ministerial curriculum for Arabic language materials, Islamic education and social studies.
And aims to develop various aspects of the personality of the learner comprehensive development of psychological, social and cultural in the framework of the principles of Islamic faith and the components of Omani identity.
